What is considered a reference breakfast in different parts of the world
As a child, I was taught this principle: “Eat breakfast yourself, share lunch with a friend, and give dinner to the enemy.” Nonsense, I’ll gobble it all up in one cup and it won’t be enough!
But at least when it comes to breakfast—the most important meal of the day—there’s a grain of truth here. However, many countries have their own views on its composition.
Classic Scottish – scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and beans

In Cuba, special bread is prepared, which must be spread with butter and dipped in coffee with milk.

Morocco loves donuts and pancakes with different jams

Brazilians have a bread, ham, cheese and jam

Italians have enough cappuccino with a croissant

Give the Germans strong coffee, fresh bread, sausage and cheese

The French have their own courassants made with almonds, chocolate and cream

Canadians love toast with sausages and “pyrogas” – converted dumplings with different fillings.

Bolivians eat “saltenas” – pies stuffed with meat and vegetables

Egyptian breakfast – beans with herbs, eggs and various sauces

The Chinese don’t care – noodles mixed with whatever your heart desires

Mongolians love huge dumplings with lamb or horse meat

In Venezuela, people prefer empanadas – pies filled with meat, beans, vegetables and cheese.

But in Turkey, different cheeses, spicy meats, olives, fresh vegetables, honey and eggs are served for breakfast.

You can and should eat a varied and interesting diet and not just stuff your stomach!
